Here at Graced Kennel, we provide pets with a fun, safe and comfortable 'home away from home' environment as well as canine training. We also work closely with local rescues prepare them for their forever homes. Kennel Assistants are a vital role in the kennel running smoothly. This is a position that most of our staff starts in before being able to move up to an animal handling position. This position assist all handlers with making things run smoothly by cleaning kennels, doing any side work , laundry, dishes, etc. This is an entry position to learning the kennel with out handling any animals. Kennel Assistants can stay in this position or have an opportunity to move up to Kennel Technician if they perform well. This is a meticulous and physically demanding job where the animals are our top priority. Daily duties include:

· Documenting daily activity on kennel cards

·Cleaning kennels inside and out Following health and safety protocol Dishes Laundry Cleaning and maintaining the yards and common areas Helping with side work and repairs Stocking Able to meet the level of clean we take pride in assist Kennel Technician Skills required.

His/her job is to manage office tasks listed below while also taking calls from customers, giving tours to future customers, answering questions and helping staff with arrival and departure of boarders. Receptionist duties and responsibilities :Using computer program to enter new clients and update existing clients; create pet boarding bookings and prepare all necessary documents for pet upcoming stay at facility.

Organizing files for billing, customer and client records, etc.

Responding to all customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner

Receptionist skills and qualifications :

Kennel Technician ( Canine Handler)

We also work closely with local rescues to train and rehabilitate dogs as we prepare them for their forever homes. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn about animal behavior and how to properly handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. That includes completing online training, testing and hands on with our canine trainer to learn safe handling skills and much more. These courses offer continued education credits after successful completion at no cost to you. This is a meticulous and physically demanding job where customer service is a top priority.
