As COVID-19 continues to have a dramatic impact across the globe, our top priorities at Graced Kennel remain the health and safety of the pets you entrust to our care, in addition to the health and well-being of our employees, loved ones, and you, our valued clients.
While there have been no reported cases of coronavirus in pets, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended that anyone who is sick with COVID-19 should restrict contact with pets and other animals. Just as you would restrict contact with other people if you are sick, the CDC in the link above, recommends that owners seek assistance in caring for their pets. We will be closed on Tuesday 3/17 for staff training and deep sanitation of building especially areas where people frequent such as our lobby .We will remain open starting on Wednesday and here to assist you as you need.
We know that keeping pets on a routine, including regular exercise and socialization, plays a significant role in maintaining their overall health. We want to encourage you to continue to enrich your pets daily life with extra activities to keep their mind and body active. We will be offering additional services such as nature walks, treasure hunts and agility activities at a discounted rate in leu of group activities. We will also be posting activities to do at home with your pet for those of you that choose not to come during this time.
We are taking special precautions to keep our staff and clients safe
and healthy by adding additional cleaning and steps to the care we already
provide. Please note that we use Rescue disinfectant made by Virotec which
provides protection from the spread of COVID-19. Please see the link below for
information on the products we use in our facility. We will be adding extra protocol
such as wearing gloves, disinfecting leashes between pets, wiping pets down at
arrival and adding a valet service to minimize human contact. Our staff is
adding extra hand washing stations and providing personal hand sanitizer to
each employee. We are asking for your patience as our staff adjust to the added
safety procedures and protocol we are putting in place. We will continue to be
transparent and update you as more information comes available for our area. We
will be closed on Tuesday to train our staff on these new procedures.
The COVID -19 virus has caused numerous closures and the need to cancel travel plans across the country. We have made changes to our cancellation policies to accommodate the changes we all are facing. All deposits that have been made for travel from March to May will be credited to your account to allow you to use once all this blows over. Our staff is ready to take those cancellations but it’s important that you contact us in order to receive credit to your account. We are here to assist you and answer any questions you may have.
